SLIDING DOORS THAT LIGHT UP AND CHARGE THE PHONE
Thanks to a special counter frame for pocket doors, Eclisse illuminates the panels’ outlines and provides electric sockets
Interior sliding doors are increasingly used by those who need to optimise small spaces and by lovers of minimalist décor, with its essential lines and elegant shapes. The choice of interior doors is a matter of aesthetics and functionality, and it is as important as the choice of coverings, colours, furniture, and, above all, lighting. Which are the pros and cons of pocket sliding doors?Elegance and comfort are definitely points in favour, but there is at least one concern that worries the fans of these space-saving solutions – pocket sliding doors don’t allow use of the wall in which the counter-frame is placed.
The convenience of having access to many electric sockets in domestic environments that are more and more populated by technological devices, is fundamental. Lighting is also a key to creating a cosy space, pleasant to live in, and that stirs up feelings of wellbeing. In this context, the Made in Italy company Eclisse, proposes two models of counter-frame for pocket doors that allow electric cables to run through them and thus to install switches, sockets, thermostats, and lights near the door. Both models feature one shutter or two, and are designed for walls in plasterboard or plaster, and doors with or without external finishes.
The first, Eclisse Luce, is a counter-frame for pocket doors with external finishes, such as jambs and architraves. It is ideal for those who like to enhance passages and entries, also by using lights to define the look.
The second, Eclisse Syntesis Luce, is conceived for enthusiasts of sober lines and minimalist design.
Thanks to this system, the door panel appears free from jambs and architraves, and it can also be enriched with wall or floor lights. Without any need for batteries or radio frequency remote controls, the special internal structure of the counter-frame allows creating space for electric cables and 10 electric boxes, 5 in the wall compartment of one shutter and 5 in the other.
