Kitchen furniture and systems by Valdesign
Alf Group cooking area design goes beyond safety, practicality and ergonomics
Valdesign is one of the two halves that make up Alf Group. Alf DaFrè produces furniture and accessories for the home, Valdesign manufactures kitchen furniture and systems. The possibility of using the same assortment of finishes for the different rooms in the home allows for the creation of a uniform, total living look in terms of personality and lifestyle.
The two companies share the same design attention to every aesthetic and functional detail, choice of prime quality materials, modular flexibility of elements and Made in Italy philosophy. The entire production chain of Alf Group is in fact 100% Italian, and takes place in the factory in Vallonto di Fontanelle.
Valdesign kitchen systems are designed for contemporary living and include all the necessary requisites for safety, functionality and ergonomics and much more. Aesthetics sees attention to even the smallest detail, thanks also to the use of new-gen materials. Every system has its own technical and aesthetic characteristics in order to satisfy diverse needs. Combination of the wide range of accessories—hoods, handles and functional equipment—means completely made-to-measure solutions are possible.
The concept that acts as a common denominator is the kitchen as a convivial, not just functional, area: somewhere open and hospitable for spending time in company.
There are five Valdesign kitchen systems.
Logica 2.2 is the most versatile kitchen system. With smooth doors available in all the finishes, it satisfies a taste for the essential, creating a welcoming, refined mood.
Maggiorana - des. Bruna Vaccher. The latest Valdesign kitchen was presented at Eurocucina 2016. Its doors feature a vertical design in solid wood with a horizontal groove. This graphic pattern camouflages openings, dialoguing with the textured surface and richness of the sandblasted elm.
Reef is for more sophisticated tastes and offers the option of glass, ceramic or lacquered wood doors. The essentiality, completeness and accuracy of the finishes give this model simple, timeless, sculpted beauty.
The distinctive element with the Soho model is the grooved handle, which comes in different solutions, a feature on side panels and tall units, while the accessorised open shelves allow free rein for personalised design layouts. While the full-access tall unit and concealed doors team looks with function.
The Forty/5 system has characteristic 45° cut doors, guaranteeing ergonomic user-friendliness and creating balanced horizontal and vertical lines. Its geometric formality is softened by the wide range of materials that help to create an understated, welcoming kitchen.
