How to decorate today the bathroom? The more intimate space of the house is more and more a place of experimentation and research and the solutions offered by the catalogs of companies, rich in copyright projects, are many and varied.
They range from coatings, ranging from natural materials up to the most innovative new generation, new technologies applied in the world of wellness through the bathroom furniture and sanitary signed by renowned designers. How then to choose? Here are some of the most interesting examples of modern bathrooms and design made in contemporary homes selected by Elle Decor.
Watchword minimalism: total white, neutral colors, lack of accessories, regularity of the spaces and the linear geometry of the forms characterize all the bathroom (photo below). Sanitary, mirrors, sinks and containers comply with a single mood: try not to appear. Similar trend, but different aspect, for the bathroom of the Maison MGD, the home studio of 140 square meters in Montreaux in Switzerland (learn more → A home studio of 140 square meters). Flanked to the bedroom on the first floor, the bathroom (photo below) is dominated by white resin of the floor up to the plaster of the walls. The furnishings, strictly custom made, is linear. If you like classic but modern bathrooms, even the White Statuary of Carrara marble used as a coating for shower, built-in bathtub and washstand gives rigor and elegance to the bathroom (photo below). Another possible solution for a bathroom by the essential design is that of game contrasts. A clean, monochromatic, minimalist room can be violated by the use of black. An example?
