BodyLove, a personal Spa with sauna and hammam
The modular system by Rodolfo Dordoni with Michele Angelini, designed to be both versatile and elegant.
BodyLove, the modular system combining a sauna, Turkish bath and shower, is the latest development by Effegibi in the field of heat and wellness technology, interpreted also and above all as a sensorial experience. Indeed, its very name expresses the designers' desire to offer an "enveloping" product, specially created to pamper and cherish our physical and mental wellbeing.
Two distinct environments, accessed through separate entrances, host the Mediterranean ritual of the hammam and the Scandinavian ritual of the sauna. Both are characterised by an ultra-rational and intuitive compositional idea based on surfaces "suspended" at different heights. The elements that make the two spaces what they are - the heat source in the sauna and the water in the Turkish bath - are in the foreground so that the function of the two areas is also evident from the exterior.
The sauna space is characterised by wooden benches suspended in a frontal position and by a low unit - in wood covered in stoneware - extending backwards, which supports the heater covered in enamelled ceramics. The ceiling is made of stoneware and features RGB LED lighting. The walls are available in two different types of wood: Canadian hemlock and heat-treated solid wood, with the possibility of adding mirrored finishes, available on request.
The hammam maintains the same layout as the sauna, with a suspended bench in Corian complete with teak accessories (backrest + footrest) and a low element extending backwards that contains the Nuvola Smart Power steam generator, which can be inspected from the exterior. A copper effect steel bowl offers a modern solution with which to perform the traditional ritual of washing during the steam bath, while a round shower head provides a reinvigorating jet of water from on high. Additionally, the hammam features chromotherapy and ECC (Effegibi Confort Control), the system built-in to every Effegibi steam generator which enables the user to manage the functions of the Turkish bath from a distance (setting the time it switches on, temperature, light, etc.).
BodyLove sauna+hammam measures 365x202x220h or 396x176x220h cm depending on the direction and position of the entrance doors to the two spaces. It is also available in an independent version - only sauna or only hammam - with solutions to meet all the various requirements of different locations; both the independent versions measure 200x176x220h cm. Like all the Effegibi products, it offers a host of customisation options in terms of the choice and combination of materials, including those not in the standard range, to create a truly tailor-made wellness area.
