Design awnings and pergola shades: the latest novelties by Pratic

Looking for truly special design awnings and other decorative, architectural and functional outdoor solutions? If that’s the case, there is an event that you shouldn’t miss for anything in the world: the Made Expo fair, from 8 to 11 March 2017 in Milan, where you will have the opportunity to admire the latest collection by Pratic, a worldwide renowned Italian brand specialized in the design of beautiful awnings and pergola shades, much appreciated for their design, high performances and cutting-edge accessories.

For the occasion, the Friuli-based company is going to launch a new visual identity and a new stand designed by Studio Marco Viola, featuring natural shades and vegetal patterns. Roda and Davide Groppi will curate both furniture and lighting.

The Milan trade exhibition – one of the most popular in its branch – will offer the opportunity to preview the new T-Project collection of motorized folding-arm awnings, an absolute novelty in the field of shade systems which includes two new, minimalist-style motorized awnings models: T-Hide (designed for wall installation) and T-Code (also ceiling installation).

The new awning models – stunning even when shut – are fitted with a special motorized, folding-arm adjustment with a multi-channel remote control. The innovative Connexoon system starts operating by a dedicated app, downloadable via smartphone.

The T-Project program most interesting strongpoint, though, is lighting – a fundamental side to all collections by Pratic. The two models of outdoor roller awnings can be completed with a system of built-in, high illuminating power LED spotlights with a dimmer. A water discharge system on the front valance guarantees protection from rain. T-Hide easily meets any sunshade demands of hotel and other communal spaces and can reach a maximum size of 700 cm length and 400 cm depth. T-Code, on the other side, reaches a maximum length of 595 cm x 350 cm depth.

Both models are available in iron grey with sophisticated grey sable, white and ivory finishing. A collection of acrylic fabrics completes the series. Moreover, there is the possibility to apply two high-tech sunshade filter fabrics: Soltis and Screen.

Also the new bioclimatic pergolas Opera and Vision, from the Bioclimatic Planet collection by Pratic, will be showcased at Made Expo 2017, focusing on environmental sustainability and thermal comfort. Made of aluminum and stainless steel, conceived to be employed throughout the entire year, Opera and Vision have been designed to guarantee the best thermal conditions thanks to the natural adjustment of temperature obtained by benefiting from sunrays and air recirculation. Adjustable sunscreen blades - that can be wholly closed according to need - allow a perfect adjustment of light and total protection even in case of rain.

Both pergolas, realized so as to host vertical outdoor awnings, can be integrated by Slide Glass, a parallel sliding system with tempered glass that allows the creation of multiple combinations and closures that can additionally host RGB LED perimeter lights as well as special spotlights built-in in the blades (adjustable intensity and grade).

Last but not least in the Made Expo 2017 kermesse the Nomo and Fusion pergolas by New Generation Pergola, designed to meet, beyond strictly performance-demands, the needs of architects and designers that are growingly inclined to invest in essential, clear-shaped structures designed to perfectly fit both the home and the surrounding natural setting

Just as the aforementioned bioclimatic pergolas, Nomo can also be equipped with the Slide and Slide Glass sliding systems and is also available in self-supporting or wall-mounted version. Both Nomo and Fusion can be further enhanced by adding integrated LED lights.
