Hakkasan Group is a worldwide hospitality company specialising in nightclubs and restaurants across the globe where to enjoy all-day and all-night moments of uncontrolled fun. Now, they just gave life to OMNIA Bali, a glamorous and vibrant dayclub destination aimed at offering unique and unforgettable relaxing sessions.
Singapore-based studio WOHA has curated the property down to the last detail, by creating an array of exclusive areas including two-storey VIP bungalows and cabanas with private infinity plunge pools and chaise-lounges, along with the shiny Cube Bar serving fresh cocktails from sunset onwards.
The cherry on top? The finest cuisine by Sake no Hana, a modern authentic Japanese restaurant coming from London’s St- James Street.
Smoothly embedded into the natural beauty of Uluwatu and its limestone cliffs, on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula, OMNIA is an actual ode to exclusive luxury.
Both the on-site disco and restaurant have been carefully designed to maximise the already sweeping and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean from a 80-meter plateau overlooking the surrounding wilderness.
Two architectural firms jointly cooperated to deliver such beautiful design: WOHA, a Singapore-based practice known for its integration of environmental and social principles at every stage of the design process, and Rockwell Group, an award-winning interdisciplinary architecture and design firm based in New York and author of some ground-breaking projects worldwide.
Gently framed by the natural landscape, the club’s restaurant lies on a platform which delicately sits atop the main Lounge below: here, the infinity pools artfully blends with the immediate ocean waters, while exclusive bungalows with private pools and VIP cabins are hidden behind the DJ Booth to provide 5-stars luxury and a privileged access to the site. Lastly, a sunken swim-up pool bar and XXL day beds and sofas allow customers to be at the very core of the party.
The Cube is a highly evocative gem, as well: a tower of shimmering silver which comes to life after dark when it lights up the horizon, creating unforgettable sunset hands-in-the-air memories of perfect island days.
The cube is accessed via a floating platform made of wooden planks and running above the pool, so to seemingly blend with the heart of the ocean.
