Brooklyn Heights’ colourful townhouses

The very heart of Brooklyn hides a peaceful residential area set miles and miles away from the city’s well-worn touristic routes. Best thing to do here is getting lost in the huge maze of streets and alleys, then grabbing a good cup of American coffee in a typical local cafe.

Washington Square Arch

The well-known park unravels through a 39,500 square-metre surface in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood of Lower Manhattan. Speaking of the oddity of this place, the green area is significantly small compared to the predominantly paved pathways.

Bird’s-eye-view of Houston Street

To enjoy stunning views of one of the city’s most relevant avenues is definitely a must, and especially at night. Beginning just north of Franklin D. Roosevelt East River Drive, Houston Street has recently undergone a major restyling resulting in two distinctive districts: NoHo (North of Houston Street), and SoHo (South of Houston Street).

Flatiron Building

The Flatiron Building, originally the Fuller Building, is a triangular 22-storey steel-frame landmarked building located at 175 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Thanks to its peculiar, ground-breaking architecture, it has shown up in several movies like Godzilla, Armageddon, Spider Man, I Am Legend, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, and Sex&The City to name a few.
